Manchester United, Premier League | The Telegraph: Five United stars are dissatisfied with Solskjær

The Telegraph claims that five Manchester United players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, will be dissatisfied with Ole Gunnar Solskjær after the troubled start of the season.

Manchester United hit the big drum on the transfer window this summer, bringing in the stars Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo.

With these world stars in place at Old Trafford, expectations for the club and Solskjær have also increased – but the results and achievements have so far not impressed significantly.

The big club was knocked out of the League Cup by West Ham. This was followed by a loss against Aston Villa in the Premier League, before a new points loss against Everton at home at Old Trafford this weekend in the match that ended 1-1.

– A growing dissatisfaction with Solskjær

After this weekend’s match, it was easy to see that Ronaldo was cursed after the match. The TV images captured the Portuguese who stormed into the player tunnel as the referee blew off the match.

Now the major newspaper claims The Telegraph that a dissatisfaction among the players against Solskjær has started to grow.

The newspaper writes that it will primarily be about five players: Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo, David de Gea, Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek.

According to The Telegraph, de Gea must have been so angry after this weekend’s match against Everton that he must have screamed in frustration in the locker room.

Sancho has so far had less playing time than many had thought he would get, while van de Beek seems to have ended up completely in the cold.

The Dutchman has only been given six minutes of playing time in the Premier League this season.

He got to start in the League Cup defeat against West Ham, and in the disappointing loss against Young Boys in the Champions League. Against Young Boys he was replaced at the break.

– I’m very sure

After the somewhat lucky victory over Villarreal on Wednesday, Solskjær was asked if he felt he had confidence from the board. He received the same question after the draw against Everton this weekend.

– It is the same question that was asked after Wednesday night. I am very sure that we will get the best out of this team, the Norwegian replied, according to The Athletic.

At the same time, he is clear that the team has to deliver better than they have done lately.

– A lot has happened this month. We have had Raphael (Varane) and Jadon (Sancho) with us since August and Cristiano (Ronaldo) since September. We have a lot to work with and we need to improve, we know it and I know it. But if I believe in this group of players and coaches I have, then the short answer is; yes, said Solskjær.

Solskjær’s critical questions come after a number of disappointing results recently. And Manchester United have so far not met any of the biggest teams in the Premier League.

But after the national team break, big team after big team is waiting for United. In the next seven Premier League matches, they will face Leicester, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
