Manchester United players don’t think Harry Maguire deserves to be in the team anymore?

There are reports about the dressing room situation again Manchester United. A number of Manchester United players are reportedly assessing Harry Maguire no longer eligible to join the team.

The report was published by The Times, which said that Maguire’s performance in guarding the Red Devils’ back line was questioned by a number of his own team-mates.

This is not the first time Maguire’s performance has been in the spotlight. Throughout this season, when the Red Devils’ pace was not steady, there was a number of criticisms of the captain’s performance.

Ahead of the Manchester derby at the weekend, The Times said Harry Maguire was “quietly doubted by a number of players in the Manchester United squad”.

There is no mention of anyone questioning Maguire’s abilities. But they judged that the England defender was deemed no longer worthy of being in the starting XI. Some are even surprised by Ralf Rangnick’s decision to still choose Maguire in the squad.

The report also mentions that Harry Maguire is not the only one who has doubts about his abilities. Several United players also felt “that the performances of some defenders did not meet the club’s standards”.

So far Harry Maguire has not commented on the latest report. But, before this, he had responded to the news of his competition with Cristiano Ronaldo in wearing the MU captain’s armband.
