I think he didn’t help the club by giving this interview to Piers Morgan,” he began.
“I didn’t think it was the right time. I felt like there were a lot of things you couldn’t disagree with. But it wasn’t his job and it didn’t help the club. Ronaldo’s job is not to help Manchester United, he can say whatever he wants, but it’s a bit of a shame because we need help and support. We don’t need adversity and people who don’t say good things about us,” Peter Schmeichel told Portuguese media outlet, A Bola.
