MANCHESTER – Manchester United lost 0-2 to Manchester City in the 11th week Premier League 2021-2022 at Old Trafford, Saturday (6/11/2021). After the game the reporters were lazy to ask Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
In that match, Man City took a quick lead in the 6th minute. Eric Bailly made an own goal so the score changed to 1-0 for Man City. The visitors widened the gap through Bernardo Silva at the end of the first half.
The press conference session after the match via Zoom must be shortened. The reason is, the media crew are not enthusiastic about asking Solskjaer questions.

Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst also reported the embarrassing incident via his personal Twitter.

“The post-match Zoom call was shortened because no one else raised their hand to ask a question, after they usually raised their hand,” Luckhurst said in a statement on his personal Twitter account, Sunday (11/7/2021).
Solskjaer also only conducted interviews with internal club journalists, and even then the club legend said that he had difficulty speaking. In the interview, he said that the current Man United is very far from the standards of a big club.
“It’s very disappointing of course, it’s difficult to talk now. We played a great team, don’t forget that. We are very far from our standards, and our level. That’s something we have to return to. We have to be more aggressive, some circumstances make us more passive,” said Solskjaer.
The waves calling for Solskjaer’s dismissal were also very noisy on social media. However, it is difficult to find a replacement for him considering that Antonio Conte has joined Tottenham Hotspur.
With this result, Man United is in danger of dropping from fifth position in the standings if Arsenal win against Watford, Sunday (11/07/2021). Man United is only one point behind Arsenal who are in seventh place.
