Manchester United announced today, Friday, the signing of Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan.
Manchester United said in a statement: “We are delighted to confirm that Jack Butland has joined the club, on loan, until the end of the 2022-2023 season.”
The 29-year-old goalkeeper made 87 Premier League appearances and nine caps for England.
Butland expressed his happiness at the move to the ‘Red Devils’, saying: ‘It’s a great club and I’m proud to play here. I played against De Gea and represented England under Tom Heaton. They are two of the best goalkeepers, and I will appreciate the opportunity to compete with them and support them as colleagues.”
