Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana scored a goal from midfield, during a friendly match for the “Red Devils” team with his French counterpart, Lens, on Saturday.
At the 23rd minute of the match, the Lens club player took advantage of the 27-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper’s lead, and hit the ball from the middle of the field into the net.
Tweeters commented on the Twitter platform on the goal that came against Onana in his first appearance on the grounds of Manchester United, Old Trafford, and some of them indicated that this act of the goalkeeper should not be repeated.
Andre Onana had joined the ranks of the “Red Devils” team, this summer, with a contract extending until 2028, with the option to extend for an additional year, from Italian club Inter Milan.
