Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag withdrew from the press conference after the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday after being asked about the club’s poor results, at a time when Argentine Alejandro Garnacho, the team’s star, showed his admiration for a post attacking his Dutch coach and criticizing his decisions.
The content of the question indicated that if Manchester United finished the season below seventh place, it would be the worst in the club’s history in the Premier League, but the former Ajax coach was not in a good mood to discuss the matter.
United’s worst result was in the 2013-2014 season, when it finished seventh, which was the first season after Sir Alex Ferguson left the club.
The Dutch coach responded as he left the conference hall, saying, “I will not comment. This question is not important at this moment.”

The Red Devils’ winless streak in the English Premier League extended to 4 league matches after they tied 2-2 against Bournemouth in the 33rd round of the English Premier League on Saturday evening.
The result was a huge blow to the Red Devils, as they failed to capitalize on Tottenham Hotspur’s crushing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Newcastle United earlier in the opening round.
Manchester United remained without a win for the fourth round in a row, remaining in seventh place with 50 points from 32 matches, behind on goal difference behind Newcastle United, sixth.
In light of these results, Man United’s mission to qualify for the Champions League has become more complicated, as it is currently 10 points away from the top four with 6 rounds remaining.
The team seeks to get back on track when it faces Coventry at Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup semi-finals next weekend.

Garnacho is recovering
A number of the team’s stars expressed their frustration with the Dutch coach’s policies throughout the season, and his decisions that sometimes lead to the team losing important points or receiving new losses.
The most recent of these stars was Argentine Alejandro Garnacho, the team’s star, who showed his anger at the coach by liking two posts attacking him and criticizing his decisions.
Manchester United coach replaced Garnacho at halftime of the team’s match against Bournemouth.
Alejandro Garnacho liked two of Mark Goldbridge’s tweets defending the Argentine from Erik ten Hag’s post-match comments, after Man United’s 2-2 draw at Bournemouth 😳😬

Speaking after the match about his decision to replace Garnacho in the first half, Ten Hag seemed to imply that the striker had not given enough effort.
Mark Goldbridge, a content creator on the international YouTube site, wrote on his official account on the “X” social networking site a post in which he attacked Ten Hag for the way he dealt with Garnacho.
Goldbridge said in a post that Garnacho liked: “Ten Hag blamed Garnacho in the press conference after the match… It is not good to throw a 19-year-old player under the bus, who has helped you a lot this season.”

Many agreed with Goldbridge’s opinion in the comments on his post, with one writing: “He is always terrified of criticizing or blaming Marcus Rashford.”
Garnacho played 42 matches with Manchester United this season, during which he scored 9 goals and made 4 assists.
