Bruno Fernandes have a rival in midfield Manchester United, Mason Mount. Who will be player number 10 of the Red Devils squad.
United signed Mount from Chelsea for £55 million. He was chosen by Erik ten Hag to add to the midfield ammunition.
In the four matches he has played with MU, Mount has played in several positions. He’s been a number 10, he’s been a number eight.
When playing with Bruno Fernandes, Mount became the number eight player, accompanying Casemiro who played the number six player.
About position number 10, Bruno Fernandes admitted that he had not discussed it with Mount. He left the decision to Ten Hag, while also praising the former Chelsea player.
“We haven’t discussed that decision. It’s the manager’s job to make that decision,” Bruno Fernandes said 90min.
“We can both play in a lot of positions. I said a few years ago, he was one of the best players in the Premier League at the time and I hope he can do it again because he is a very good player and he is still very young – he has a long way to go.”
“We are very happy to have him, whenever he plays, as a 10, eight or on the wing. We both can do that. The most important thing is that we can help the team be successful,” said Bruno Fernandes add.
