Erik ten Hag become a favorite as a coach Manchester United next. However, Gary Neville disagree and prefer Mauricio Pochettino.
Man United is currently being coached by Ralf Rangnick, whose contract expires in June 2022. The German tactician’s contract does not appear to be extended.
Well, Erik ten Hag is the strongest candidate since a few months ago. The news blows again after the Red Devils were kicked out of the Champions League.
So far, Erik ten Hag’s response to Manchester United looks positive. On the other hand, Neville as a former MU player did not agree and had other options.
“Personally I would vote for Pochettino, but Ten Hag is the strongest favorite of United fans to take the club forward. That’s his choice between the two,” Neville said in a tweet.
Erik ten Hag is still under contract with Ajax until next year. Even so, it is believed that MU will have no trouble signing Ten Hag, because Ajax CEO Edwin van der Saar (a former MU player) is reportedly not going to get in the way.
Pochettino also seems to be kicked out of Paris Saint-Germain after failing in the Champions League. The Argentine will have no trouble gushing the Red Devils because he has long experience in the Premier League with Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur.
