Manchester City turned around and won against Everton, but the victory was expensive.
John Stones went out injured – after a situation that infuriated Pep Guardiola.

The assistant referee did that in tonight’s match between Everton and Manchester City, despite the fact that the home team’s striker Beto was offside.
That, in turn, forced City centre-back John Stones to pursue the situation and, in his eagerness to stop a potential free-kick, twisted his ankle and was forced off injured.
