The BBC advances in England that Wolverhampton rejected a proposal of 47 million pounds (about 55 million euros) from Manchester City for Matheus Nunes.

The Portuguese international, formerly of Sporting, is in the sights of Pep Guardiola, who is looking for a player to replace Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian will recover from injury in the next three or four months.

It is recalled that Guardiola came to consider Matheus Nunes “one of the best players in the world” when he faced Sporting in the round of 16 of the Champions League in 2022.
