Manchester City will face Fluminense in the final match of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup.
The tournament, hosted by Saudi Arabia, includes the champions of six FIFA member confederations and the latest league champion of the host country. In the second match of the semi-final, England’s Manchester City team played against Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds team at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
In the match, Manchester City won with Marius Höibraten’s 45+1. They beat their opponent 3-0 with an own goal in the 10th minute, goals scored by Mateo Kovacic in the 52nd minute and Bernardo Silva in the 59th minute.
Manchester City will face Brazil’s Fluminense team in the final on Friday, December 22, at 21.00 GMT.
The third-place match of the tournament will be played between Urawa Red Diamonds and Egypt’s El-Ehli teams on the same day at 17.30 GMT.
