Manchester City’s official website said on Wednesday: “Manchester City can confirm that Rodri has suffered a ligament injury in his right knee.”
He said: “The player suffered the injury in the first half of last weekend’s game, which ended in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the English Premier League.
The statement confirmed: “Rodri traveled to Spain to seek specialist advice this week, after undergoing preliminary tests in Manchester,” and continued: “The severity of the injury is still being assessed proceed to determine the extent of the injury and the expected diagnosis.”
