Manchester City Eyeing Benjamin Pavard as Kyle Walker’s Replacement at Bayern Munich

Manchester

Kyle Walker known to have agreed to move to Bayern Munich. Maybe Manchester City wants to let him go, as long as he can Benjamin Pavard from Bavaria!

Reported from Sky Sports, Kyle Walker express personal consent to move to Bayern Munich. Walker is believed to be interested in coach Thomas Tuchel’s plans.

Manchester City, Kyle Walker’s club jumped into action. City want to find a replacement for the right wing-back with Bayern Munich’s right wing-back, namely Benjamin Pavard!

This was also informed by Transfer Teacher Fabrizio Romano. According to Fabrizio, if Bayern are interested in Walker, City are also interested in Pavard.

“City wants Pavard as a replacement for Walker. There has not been an agreement between City and Bayern regarding Walker,” he explained.

“Both clubs will negotiate as soon as possible,” he continued.

Interestingly, the two players’ contracts will both expire at their respective clubs in the summer of 2024. The difference is, the price Benjamin Pavard more expensive in the market than Kyle Walker.

Pavard has a selling price starting at 40 million Euros or the equivalent of Rp. 674 billion, while Walker starts at 15 million Euros or the equivalent of Rp. 253 billion. That’s because the age of the players is different, Pavard is younger (27 years) than Walker (33 years).

Maybe, Bayern would want to pay City a lower price for Pavard if Walker were to be a ‘slicker’?
