Managing Music Galleries on Android: Dealing with Overloaded Image Views

Good day,

I have successfully set up a synchronization of my music between my smartphone and my home server –

Unfortunately, I now have so many music tracks on my smartphone that my entire gallery (Android image view) has become virtually unusable.

The music is on the SD card, has a “My Music” folder and is sorted into folders underneath by artist.

The gallery now seems to create a separate album for each folder in which an image is located. That’s quite a lot…

I don’t want to delete the images from it, my home server, my PC and my car read the folder.jpg and evaluate it, so I have to remove it from the image library in Android.

Does anyone happen to know how this works? 😉

A .nomedia file doesn’t work because then the music will no longer be played by Apollo
