The client is an international asset manager that has been represented on the German market for many years with its own KVG. A small team manages several billion in assets with a focus on stock and bond strategies in public and special funds. For the operations department, we are looking for a motivated manager for outsourcing controlling / fund administration (m/f/d) in Frankfurt am Main.

Tasks:

  • Administration of public and special funds
  • Analysis and further development of the coordination processes
  • KPI reporting to clients
  • Monitoring fund price confirmation
  • Commercial and tax law preparation of accounting
  • Contact person for auditors, clients, custodians and departments
  • Fund administration, Fund price control
  • System limit check, price check, market conformity check
  • Collateral Management
  • Daily processing of all types of transactions carried out by fund management
  • Processing of domestic and foreign corporate actions
  • Processing of share certificate sales/redemptions (issuance business)
  • Determination and checking of fund and tax figures
  • Commercial and tax law preparation of accounting

Qualifications:

  • Studies in economics or training to become a bank clerk/bank clerk or investment fund clerk/investment fund clerk with relevant further training
  • Approximately 5 years of professional experience – ideally with experience in outsourcing controlling – at an asset manager, a custodian bank or a (master) KVG; would be happy to supplement it with relevant experience in the middle or back office
  • In-depth understanding of the accounting processes of special funds and the regulatory requirements within a capital management company
  • Knowledge of fund accounting and fund controlling
  • Very good knowledge of German; Knowledge of English
