Manager for Moosburg city marketing: Here we go again – Freising

Anyone who currently visits the website of the Moosburg Marketing Cooperative (MeG) will first see – this is not unusual during the holiday season – a note in bold letters under “News” at the top that the office will be closed from August 15th to September 1st due to company holidays.

If you scroll down a little further, however, you will see another message that is certainly a little more explosive than a company holiday in the middle of August: For the aforementioned office, which is currently closed, a new manager is being sought “as soon as possible, on a permanent and full-time basis”.

The current branch manager, Thomas David, was officially introduced in spring 2021 and has now been in office for a good three years. This means that he has lasted about twice as long as his predecessor, Ulrich Metzmeier, who took up the post in October 2019 and left after just under a year and a half.

By hiring David, the management team of the marketing cooperative hoped to bring a little more continuity to the branch management. But after just over three years, they are already looking for a successor.

According to the job advertisement, the MeG carries out “tasks of city marketing, economic development, event management and public relations in Moosburg an der Isar”. The office management, which now has to be found again, works “closely with a voluntary board as well as with various working groups and committees”.
