Manager Britney Spears resigns: ‘She plans to officially retire’

Larry and Britney had been working together since the early years of her career – in the 1990s. However, they have not had any contact with each other for more than two years. After the ‘Toxic’ singer told him she wanted to take an indefinite break from work, she said nothing more.

In a written statement to the executives of Britney, Jamie Spears and Jodi Montgomery, who Deadline Larry now officially offers his resignation: “Britney again expressed her intention to officially stop singing. As her manager, I believe it is in her best interest that I resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed.”

Larry, who is also the manager of Aerosmith’s front singer Steven Tyler, said he is “extremely proud” of what they have accomplished during her career. He also made it clear that he was never part of the administration. He concluded his letter with the words: “I wish Britney all the health and happiness in the world and I will be there for her if she ever needs me again, as I always have.”

On June 23, she testified in court: “It is my wish and dream that this all ends. I want my life back. I do believe this situation is abuse. I want to end the administration without being evaluated. I want to make a request to end all this.” Britney also claimed that her administrators were doing everything they could to prevent her from having any more children.
