A man has been sentenced to four years and five months in prison for raping a woman in the open street at Oslo Børs. The man has HIV, but the woman was not infected.
The two are said to have met by chance at a club last autumn, and the man followed the woman home. When they arrived at the Oslo Stock Exchange, he is said to have held her up against a fence and raped her, writes VG.
The rape was interrupted by a security guard. The man believes that even the sexual intercourse was voluntary and will therefore appeal the verdict.
The victim has been awarded compensation of NOK 270,000.
