Police search man caught on CCTV walking on New York sidewalk swinging assault rifle

Police are looking for a man who was caught on camera walking on a New York sidewalk with an assault rifle.
The man was seen with the black assault rifle in the Bronx on Thursday afternoon.
Surveillance video showed him walking down Webster Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. with the gun in his left hand.
The rifle the man was carrying had a high-capacity magazine, police said.

The NYPD said the man raised “fear and alarm” among those who saw him walking on the sidewalk alone.
The man was last seen walking towards East Gun Hill Road /
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, police said.
Police described the ordeal as “reckless endangerment”.

They are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect carrying the guns.
The suspect is described as an adult male of average complexion and build.
Police said he is around six feet tall and was last seen wearing a red hooded jacket, red sneakers and blue jeans.
