NEW YORK – Police are searching for a man who was seen walking calmly down a Bronx sidewalk with a black assault rifle with a high-capacity magazine dangling from his arm, authorities said Friday.
The sighting occurred a day earlier around 3:30 pm on Webster Avenue. The man did not appear to point the gun at anyone, but the very presence of the gun terrifies anyone, police said.
The man was last seen walking down East Gun Hill Road; Police released surveillance video of the suspect. No injuries were reported.
