The investigating judge in Tongeren had a 65-year-old suspect arrested on Wednesday 21/10 on suspicion of murder of 61-year-old Gerty Vanhoef, better known as the Hoevemoord. It is about Albert B., Vanhoef’s husband. The victim was violently killed in the evening of 28 August 2018 in her home, the Damiaanhoeve in Elen (Dilsen-Stokkem).
