Former Man Utd player Nemanja Vidic has stated that he would look at “other options” instead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane if he were part of the Red Devils’ recruitment team. Man Utd are searching for a permanent replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who departed in November after an interview controversy, and signed Burnley’s Wout Weghorst on loan until the end of the season. While several players, including Kane, have been linked with the club, Vidic believes that the key to success lies in finding players who can stay with the team for seven years and is not convinced that Kane is the answer.
