[Now Sports]Manchester United announced on Friday that it has invited Everton Football Operations Director Harrison to join as the club’s new Football Operations Director.
Harrison, who also worked in Manchester United’s ticketing department before switching to Everton in 1995, said: “I am very excited to have the opportunity to take on this role and make a commitment to Manchester United. I will always cherish the memories of my 27 years at Everton. I wish Goodison Park and Finch Farm all the best for the future. Now, I will focus on helping Manchester United create the best operating environment to support the team’s success on the pitch.”
After joining Manchester United, Harrison will be directly under the Red Devils football director Metov. His main work will include football management, team travel and supporting players, including the work of the Red Devils men’s football, women’s football and football academy. Metoff believes that with Harrison’s extensive experience in these areas, United’s players and staff will find it easier to succeed on the pitch.
