Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
top brass Manchester United reported to have made the decision to sack the Norwegian coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Reported from Express, decisive action will be taken as soon as Man Utd find a suitable replacement coach. So far, the management of the Red Devils is said to be still looking for a replacement for Solskjaer in the coach’s chair.
The search process was more complicated because the coach who was targeted by Man Utd was still working elsewhere. One of them is Brendan Rodgers who is still under contract with Leicester City.
Despite the complicated search, the plan to change the Man Utd coach is still ongoing. However, there is no definitive time when Solskjaer will be sacked and his position replaced by another coach.
Man Utd reportedly do not want to rush into this process. In fact, it is not impossible that the process of finding a new coach will take until the end of the season.
Moreover, Rodgers, who has been heavily linked with Man Utd, is still under contract until June 30, 2025 with Leicester.
The desire to kick Solskjaer is reportedly because Man Utd officials feel that they have seen enough of the 48-year-old coach’s actions. The series of bad results at the start of this season is claimed to have strengthened the management’s desire to separate from the former Cardiff City coach.
Man Utd are helpless when faced with teams who are both competing in the path of the Premier League champions. Cristiano Ronaldo et al were beaten by Liverpool 0-5 and were beaten 0-2 by Manchester City.
The two defeats were painful for Man Utd because they took place at Old Trafford. In the Premier League standings, Man Utd are also scattered in sixth place.
