Haaland, Man United, Chelsea and some nonsense

Solskjaer said in quotes in Man United ‘s official website: “Unfortunately, the news about Alex Telles is worse than we expected.

“His ankle injury is a little more serious than we expected and he will be out for at least a short period, I think all of August.”

Elsewhere, Danny Mills has suggested that Solskjaer is “bragging” about Lingard’s future at Man United:

Whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United are saying the right things to keep the transfer rate high. The moment you say it’s redundant, you annoy the player and devalue him very, very quickly because everyone knows you want to get rid of him.

“I said this when he went to West Ham and started playing well. Ole said: ‘Oh, he was brilliant with us, he had trained well and looked good.’ Why did you give it up then?

“He didn’t take the time to get going, he immediately fell to the ground. If he was sharp in training and cared for himself like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team, why wasn’t he in and around Man United’s team?

“Suddenly he left and he has done well and now he is back. There was no reason to send it on loan in the first place, if that was the case.

I think this is a bit of a hoax. They want to keep up appearances: ‘We want to keep it. If you want it, you’ll have to give it up instead of us giving it away. ‘
