On August 4, 2021, the National Center for Missing and Abused Children contacted the Boynton Beach police about a video of a sexual nature that someone shared in which a minor between the ages of 8 and 10 appeared. The investigation began immediately.
the dept. The Boynton Beach Police Special Victims Unit led the investigation that led to the Orange County arrest of 22-year-old Chase Walker.
According to the police report, the authorities were warned that someone uploaded to the Snapchat social network a video of a sexual nature of a boy approximately 8 to 10 years old. The investigation revealed that the video was uploaded by Walker from this home in Boynton Beach.
According to the authorities, Walker worked for a children’s theater company in the city of Sarasota. When questioned by Sarasota authorities in November 2021, Chase pointed out that he no longer had the Snapchat app since he was banned for that video. The report adds that Chase admitted to having child pornography on his phone, but had already deleted it.
Police said Walker met the boy through the Omegle.com website. This page promotes meeting strangers. Even the page makes the warning that sexual predators use it. The police make a recommendation to the community.
“We want parents to use this situation to talk to their children there are many dangers in social networks and on the Internet and this is almost an example of that.”
Thanks to the work of several law enforcement agencies, Walker was arrested last Thursday in Orange County.
“Because the suspect was not in this area we were able to work side by side with the Sarasota police and they were able to contact him on our behalf and later the US marshals took him into custody.”
Walker was due to appear before a bail judge today, but we were able to find out that he was released from the Orange County Jail after posting bail.
