Man stabs four small children and one adult in Annecy, France: Suspect identified as Abdalmasih H.

Images show the man who specifically stabbed four small children and one adult in Annecy, France. Three people, including two minors, were temporarily in mortal danger.

︎ According to the newspapers “Le Dauphiné Libéré” and “Le Monde”, a German child was also injured. There was initially no official confirmation of this.

According to information from French media, the stabber is said to be Abdalmasih H. The 32-year-old applied for asylum in France in November. In the document H. wrote that he was a “Christian from Syria”.

He is said to have lived in Sweden for around ten years, where his refugee status was approved. In the Scandinavian country he has a wife and a three-year-old child.

Footage of the crime is circulating online. The pictures are so horrible that BILD does not show them. Among other things, you can see how Abdalmasih H. stabs a victim in a stroller.

An eyewitness confirmed to the television station BFM TV: “He even attacked babies.” According to “France Bleu”, the children are between the ages of 22 months and three years.

Ex-footballer Anthony Le Tallec, who was jogging in the park at the time, told the Dauphiné Liberé newspaper that there was “total panic”.

The Syrian also wanted to attack the former athlete, but Le Tallec was able to avoid it. He then jumped on an elderly couple and stabbed the man.

The background to the bloody deed is still unclear. The official said it was still being checked whether the attack was a terrorist attack. So far, however, the public prosecutor sees NO terrorist motive.

That had happened: on Thursday around 9.45 a.m. the police received emergency calls, a man stabbed people in the famous park “Jardins de l’Europe”. When officers arrived, they disabled the attacker by shooting him in the legs, according to eyewitnesses. Then he was arrested.
