A month after the terrorist attack that left one dead in Paris, blood flowed again on the Bir-Hakeim bridge in the 15th arrondissement. Monday January 1, 2024, a man was stabbed multiple times by two individuals, according to information fromNews17 confirmed by the Paris prosecutor’s office. The perpetrators fled and the victim was hospitalized with a life-threatening prognosis.
Attempted robbery and attempted murder
For the moment, the causes of this attempted murder remain unclear. The victim would have been victim of a theft at the Trocadéro metro station around 6 a.m. Shortly after these events, the latter received stab wounds to the chest, legs and abdomen.
An open investigation
Left for dead, the victim was taken care of by emergency services and transported to Georges-Pompidou hospital. with vital prognosis engaged. An investigation into attempted homicide was entrusted to the first judicial police district.
