Man stabbed in Amsterdam, also injured in Hague stabbing | inland

A man was injured in a stabbing on Saturday night in Amsterdam. He was taken to the hospital. Also in The Hague, one person was injured by a stabbing and was taken to hospital.

The stabbing in Amsterdam took place at 7.35pm at C. van Eesterenlaan in the Eastern Docklands.

The police are present at the intersection with CJK Van Aalststraat, near a shop, on the island of Sporenburg. “We are investigating what exactly preceded it,” a police spokesman said.

“Either way, there is a suspect, but more people could be involved. If people know more, then any information is welcome.”

Shortly before, around 18:00, the Hague police received reports of a stabbing. At the Fisherstraat near the Langnekstraat, officers found an injured person. The victim was transported to the hospital in an air ambulance.

Police have not yet released details on the nature of the injuries. The police are looking for a suspect. Also, much is still unclear about the Transvaalkwartier-South stabbing incident, says a Hague police spokesman.
