Man Shot Over Spilled Drink at Manhattan Restaurant: Suspect Arrested and Charged with Attempted Murder, Assault, and Weapon Possession

An angry customer shot another over a spilled drink at a restaurant in Upper Manhattan, the NYPD reported.

Antony Battle, 46, was arrested weeks later as a suspect in the incident that occurred on January 27 at the bar of the “Luxor New York” restaurant on the corner of Tenth Ave. and W. 203rd St. in Inwood.

That day the suspect, a resident of The Bronxhad an argument with a 33-year-old man, He pulled out a gun, pointed it at him and fired several times. The unidentified victim was shot in the abdomen, but survived the surprise attack. Battle fled but was arrested on Wednesday, February 7, and charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
