According to Omroep Brabant the man was fired while he was sitting at a table with several people. “The incident happened on a terrace just around the corner from a place where a performance was taking place,” said a police spokesman. The Tilburg Zingt event was underway.
Two suspects fled in a car after the shooting. The car was unable to proceed due to poles in the road. The police quickly arrived and an officer fired a warning shot. One suspect was subsequently arrested.
