Man Shot in the Head Dead in Broad Daylight in Manhattan – NBC New York

A man has died after being shot in the head in broad daylight in Manhattan on Sunday, New York City Police said.

The incident occurred on the Upper West Side in 140 W 102 St at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.

According to the preliminary investigation, the victim, a 27-year-old man, was in the middle of a verbal dispute with a woman who was apparently his girlfriend. However, it has not been confirmed that she is the suspect in the crime.

The paramedics declared the man dead at the scene and who was apparently inside a vehicle, said the Police who have not revealed his identity while waiting to notify his family.

No arrests have been reported and the case remains under investigation.
