The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, their condition currently unknown. Meanwhile, the gunman fled north through an alleyway, vanishing between 54th and 55th Streets.
Police have released a description of the suspect, painting a picture of a slim individual standing approximately six feet one inch tall. The gunman was reportedly clad in a black jacket, black hat, black ski mask, and carrying a black backpack.
