“During this intervention, one or more shots were fired,” the prosecutor said. “One person was hit. The man died on the spot. The public prosecutor’s office started an investigation and demanded an investigating judge, a medical doctor, a weapons expert and the lab. They all get off on the spot.”

The public prosecutor’s office cannot confirm whether the police shot the man and whether there was lawful self-defense by the officer in question. “The investigation into the exact circumstances is in full swing,” said the public prosecutor’s office.

The lab is conducting a trace investigation and an investigating judge has been appointed. The identity of the victim and the reason for the search, which was part of an ongoing investigation, have not yet been released.

A local resident responded The last news: “At 5.45 am I heard two men arguing in the hall. Then a bang rang out. At first I thought it was a garbage can that was closing, so I was shocked when I saw the emergency services arrive,” she says.

In the interest of the investigation, the public prosecutor’s office is not providing any further information for the time being.
