A man who was apparently emotionally disturbed was shot dead by police while holding his elderly mother at knifepoint inside their home in the Bronx (NYC).
Apparently He threatened to kill his family and himself, before the officers shot him. The man’s mother, along with his girlfriend, were stabbed and suffered head injuries. A knife was found at the scene.possible weapon used against women.
No police officers were injured in the shooting that occurred shortly before 11:20 a.m. this morning inside an apartment on the 13th floor of 2865 Creston Avereported New York Post.
The disturbed man, who has not been identified, had been “off his meds,” using drugs and hallucinatingaccording to his stepfather, who called 911, sources said.
