A 29-year-old man was shot and wounded on a Brooklyn subway platform on Sunday afternoon, New York City Police said.
According to an NYPD spokesperson, the victim was on the platform of the C line at the subway station located in Pitkin Ave and Shepherd Aveat about 3:42 pm, when he got into a dispute with two men and was shot in the torso.
The suspects fled the scene, she said, and the victim was transported to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
The Shepard Avenue subway station was partially closed as officers investigated the shooting along the C line.
So far no further details have been released.
