The police has in the investigation program Bureau 020 images released of a man who shoots a parked car in New West on the night of Tuesday 22 to Wednesday 23 September 2020. The owner had parked the vehicle on the street corner a few hours earlier.

” Colleagues receive a report around 4 a.m. that there has been a shooting at Lodewijk van Deysselstraat. On the corner with Adele Opzoomerstraat they find a Mercedes whose front and rear windows have been shot at, ” says Anneke de Vries of the Amsterdam police. The windscreen on the passenger side was also shot and there is a bullet hole in the rear just above the license plate. It is not yet clear why the car was shot at, several scenarios are taken into account. We are urgently looking for people who have information about the suspect, ” says De Vries.
