Police went to Grünerløkka in Oslo after news of a fight in which a person was injured with a knife. The injured person was transported to Ullevål hospital with serious injuries.
– The police received a complaint of a seriously injured person and that there was a lot of blood, says police chief Anders Kjendalen. There were five people in the apartment and the other four were taken into custody.
– Probably there was talk of a fight with the use of a knife, where the injured person has a serious injury to the thigh, the police said earlier.
Accused of serious personal injury
– One person was arrested and charged with serious personal injury. Four other people have witness status, crime leader Eivind Håndstad tells NTB.
Everyone must be men. Håndstad says she doesn’t know how old they are, or exactly how many people have been in the apartment.
From night to Sunday on the spot are the forensic technicians of the police who carry out technical investigations.
– We will continue with the investigation of this case, both tactical and technical throughout the night, says Håndstad.
The relationship between the victim and the arrested
The sequence of events is unclear.
– We don’t know anything more about the cause, but we will prioritize interviewing witnesses and other people involved to get a little more clarity in the sequence of events, says Håndstad.
– What can you say about the relationship between the victim and the offender?
– We have a feeling that there is a relationship. What kind of relationship we don’t want to hang out with right now, says Håndstad.
