A man was hit by a tram while crossing the tracks in Kloten on Saturday evening. The 30-year-old was seriously injured, police said.
The accident happened on Saturday evening shortly after 11:15 p.m. on Flughafenstrasse, as the Zurich cantonal police announced on Sunday.
A man was about to cross the tracks when he was hit by a tram. The injured had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Because of the accident, the tram line between Oerlikon train station and Zurich Airport was interrupted from around 11:20 p.m. until the end of operations.
