Man Sentenced to Probation for Avoiding Mobilization Due to Lack of Funds: Verdict of the Kivertsovsky District Court

At the trial, the man admitted his guilt and repented.

In the Volyn region, a man avoided mobilization because “he did not have money to travel to the military registration and enlistment office.” For this he was sentenced to probation.

This is stated in the verdict of the Kivertsovsky District Court of the Volyn region.

According to the court, on September 4, 2023, the Military Military Commission considered the man fit for military service. On September 26, he was given a “combat order” and was supposed to arrive at the military registration and enlistment office on September 27, but he avoided mobilization.

At the trial, the man admitted his guilt and repented. He explained that he did not arrive at the TCC and SP that day because “there was no money for travel.”

The court found the man guilty under Art. 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to 3 years in prison, replacing this period with a year of probation.

This verdict can still be challenged in court.

Let us remind you that in the Khmelnitsky region a man wanted to mobilize, but his mother took him from the TCC.
