Man runs with gun in front of building – area cordoned off

New York. The United Nations headquarters in New York was cordoned off on Thursday due to an ongoing police operation in front of the building. A UN spokesman said. According to a local police officer, a man with a gun, possibly a shotgun, was immediately outside the building.

The police cordoned off the area around the UN headquarters on Manhattan’s east bank. a reporter from the German press agency saw dozens of emergency services. First, not yet verified videos on social media showed a man walking up and down the fence of the UN building and appearing to be pointing a gun at himself.
