Man robs Fletcher Hotel in Zuidoost with knife

The Fletcher Hotel in Zuidoost was robbed last night. At 12:15 a.m. a man with a knife entered the building to demand money, after which he ran away.

After the attempt, the perpetrator fled in the direction of Holendrecht station. Agents investigated the area and were eventually able to arrest a 20-year-old Amsterdammer. A police dog was used in the arrest.

The suspect had a knife in his pocket. It is not yet known whether any loot was taken, according to the hotel’s report.
