In the PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam, a man was robbed of an expensive watch last night. He was not injured. Police are looking for three suspects.
The victim had stopped his car at a red traffic light when he heard a loud bang on his car. He saw that his left wing mirror was crooked and broken. According to the police, the driver also saw someone standing in front of his car with his hand on his side, as if he had been injured.
The driver got out to see how the ‘injured’ was doing, after which someone else grabbed him around the waist. “A third man forcibly pulled his exclusive watch from his wrist,” police said.
The three ran away in the direction of Van Baerlestraat and Museumplein, reports NH News/AT5. Police are investigating and looking for witnesses. Camera images from security cameras, video doorbells or dashcams from parked vehicles are also welcome, the police said.
