“I was the victim of a homophobic attack.” Quentin took up his pen on Wednesday April 10 on X to recount the violent attack of which he was the victim last weekend in Lyon.
Sunday April 7 in the morning, Quentin leaves the evening. He is accompanied by “another boy”. In the street, the two men kiss, reports SOS Homophobia. The end of the evening then turns into a nightmare. “A man smashed our skulls, faces and our hands, which we were trying to protect them,” the victim recounts on X. “The head and facial trauma I have and the violence of the shock made me lose all memory of aggression,” he continues.
A photo accompanies Quentin’s testimony. His face is covered in sores. According to Stop Homophobia, the two men were seriously injured during the attack.
“Premeditated homophobic attack”
On X, Quentin denounces a “premeditated homophobic attack”. “We kissed with the boy I was with and a man in ambush jumped on us and beat us with a bag full of heavy metal objects,” he explains to Actu Lyon.
The story does not end there. “Despite our respective filings of complaints, very clear elements from the other boy (who remembers everything), allowing us to recognize the homophobic and premeditated nature of this act, the police did not mention it in their reports”, says Quentin. He claims to have a precise address following “the location” of his phone, the alleged attacker of the two friends having stolen the smartphone during the violent attack.
Quentin has received a wave of support since the publication of his terrible story about . “The city of Lyon is at the disposal of the Prefecture and Justice in order to shed light on this intolerable aggression,” he added.
For its part, SOS Homophobia announced that it had mandated its lawyer to represent the two victims.
