A man driving a car in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency, West Java, raises his head airsoft gun to other drivers. The incident was allegedly triggered by the driver of the airsoft gun failing to overtake the car when it was stuck.
“Yes, I want to get emotional for a moment,” said Megamendung Police Chief AKP Eddy Santosa when asked for confirmation, Saturday (14/1/2023).
The incident occurred on Friday (13/1) at around 15.00 WIB. At that time, traffic conditions around the scene were jammed.
“The name is also jammed, maybe there is a need to hurry up,” he said.
The perpetrators and the boxcar driver were then taken to the Headquarters of the Megamendung Police. They met to explain the situation.
The perpetrator then apologized to the boxcar driver. He made a letter of apology.
“Finally, I apologized to the boxcar driver if I’m not mistaken. Forgive me, a letter of apology was made to everyone. That airsoft gun can no longer be used,” he said.
He suspects the perpetrator wanted to scare other motorists. he called airsoft gun it looks like a gun if you don’t look closely.
“I think so, people don’t know, they think it’s a gun,” he concluded.
