Man pushed on the Bronx subway tracks – NBC New York

NEW YORK – Saturday morning a man was pushed onto the subway tracks of a Bronx station in what police called an unprovoked attack.

The 26-year-old victim was walking on the platform of the Ea stationst 149th Street y South Avenuearound 11:50 am, when the suspect approached her from behind, the uniformed officer said.

The video released the next day shows the unidentified assailant approaching the man and pushing him onto the tracks just before a Line 6 train arrived. The suspect then fled.

Other train users ran and helped the victim get onto the platform. Authorities said he had leg injuries and had to be transported to a nearby hospital.

Police released pictures of the suspect and asked anyone with information to contact 1-888-57-TRACK.
