A man walking through East Harlem (Manhattan, NYC) was punched in the head for being “Mexican,” according to the attacker’s words.
The 43-year-old victim was confronted by a man at 132 East 111th St. near Park Ave around 11:50 p.m. on Nov. 4, he posted today Daily News.
The stranger asked him: “You are Mexican?”. When the victim responded “Yes,” the man He punched him in the head before running away.
The victim had to go to the hospital for a minor injury. His attacker has not been captured. Police released a surveillance image of the racist suspect today, asking the public for help in identifying and locating him. People are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

In a similar case, last week a Latina recorded a racist woman saying: ““I hate Mexicans.” in the restroom area of the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim (California).
In November of last year, a man brutally hit a young passenger in the head and shouted: “Fu— you, Mexican” inside the New York Subway, in The Bronx.
In August 2022, a woman was hit on a Metro train in Brooklyn by a stranger who screamed “I hate Mexicans” during a sudden brutal attack.
