The police in Øst report on Twitter about a rescue operation that has been launched after reports came in about a man who was in Glomma in Sarpsborg.
The main rescue center informs on Twitter that the man is being flown to Ullevål hospital by rescue helicopter.
– Rescue helicopter is on its way, and life-saving first aid has been implemented. We have no suspicion of more people in the water, said operations manager Håkon Nilsen in the East police district NRK at 10.30 p.m.
According to the police, the man must have gone swimming at Sandesund in Sarpsborg on Tuesday evening. As he swam, he gradually lost control, according to witnesses.
The man was found by the fire service’s jet ski, writes VG.
