The National Civil Police (PNC) confirmed this afternoon the feminicide of a woman in the El Tesoro neighborhood, in the San Miguel district. Her life partner is accused of the incident, who chose to commit suicide to avoid prison.
The incident occurred this afternoon after the couple got into an argument for unknown reasons. The man took a machete and proceeded to kill his life partner.
The victim was identified as Teresa de Jesús Medina and the perpetrator as Óscar Napoleón Martínez. The latter was found suspended with a noose around his neck.
